Polytech, Inc., in joint venture with SSOE, Inc., NBBJ  and GPR (Laboratory Planning), was assigned to provide engineering services for the construction of the new Pharmacy, Chemistry and Life Sciences Complex at the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio.  These services included complete mechanical, plumbing and fire protection design.  The Pharmacy, Chemistry and Life Sciences Complex is a 4-story, 173,684 square foot building with a basement and attic space.  The facility houses labs, classrooms, offices, a greenhouse, an auditorium and a vivarium for animal research.  It is built adjacent to Bowman-Oddy Laboratories on the University of Toledo’s Main Campus.
